I love this place!! When I get the cravings for catfish or red snapper, I am here. I even love the hush puppies. I introduced my friends to this place, and they were very impressed. The counter guy is not the friendliest, but I am starting to expect that now, so when he smiles, it will definitely be genuine. It's a small spot, but we don't care. The food is freshly fried and definitely worth the drive and wait in traffic to get there. My favorite spot in the IE hands down!!

I love this black owned, family owned "hole in the wall" place. Been coming here since high school more than 20 years ago. the food is consistent, reasonably priced and good. I always get 20-30 pieces of medium shrimp, hush puppies, the large red beans and rice and occasionally the peach cobbler (which I love!). The key is to either come early when they first open or order ahead of time to beat the crowds, but the food is worth the wait. I've never been disappointed with their food, never. I just can't eat fried food often, got to protect my health. But when I have a fried food craving, I make the trek from Riverside to eat here. A community staple!

We always get the catfish dinner which comes with 4 catfish fillets, coleslaw and fries. Their jumbo shrimp is very good and tasty.

I have always enjoyed my meals from Louisiana Seafood! There is waiting, but that is because my order is freshly made.

It was my first time eating here. It's located in a busy market plaza close to Del Taco. The parking can be hard to find. I was lucky and found one. The place seemed to be black owned, and employees and customers support the restaurant very well. The employees that work there are customer friendly and attentive to the customers. I decided to order the 4 piece catfish dinner that includes 4 fried catfish and 2 sides of your choice. I chose potato salad and hush puppies. The both of the sides were delicious. The catfish was crunch on the outside, and tender on the inside. I give everything a 4 star. I suggest that you order ahead to avoid waiting in line. It took approximately 25 minutes until my food was ready. I definitely will come again, and it's great to support our black owned businesses. Keep up the excellent work.

Food: Decent but on a really good day it can be really really fresh and good. I don't come here very often but when I do have a craving for fish/seafood I come here. They have really tasty Red Snapper, tartar sauce, shrimp, 7up cake and pecan pie. Horrible hush puppies though;very dry. And occasionally their wings are good. Service: has gotten a lot better but still needs work IMO. Less employees with attitudes now but still feel like an inconvenience. Nothing too horrible though. Ambiance: crowded and not a place you would want to sit and eat mostly because there is barely any room in there but I never sit in anyways so I don't mind.

When I can't get my aunties home-made gumbo, Louisiana Seafood is my go to. So comforting. Selection: I really appreciate being able to call in my order when I'm on the way. I can easily pick it up and plate all pretty it at home. I originally came for the gumbo, but I convinced myself I needed some catfish too. No regrets!! Parking: the area is a bit busy with big surrounding stores, but parking is usually manageable. After a day of shopping at Ross, Burlington, Home Goods, and Marshall's this place will hit the spot.

Updating my review to add pics and since there are some new players around. Paid this spot a visit recently and the fish still stands up. As much as I hate places that are stingy with the hot sauce and condiments, this fish didn't really need it. It's seasoned really well, walking that fine line of seasoned and salty. I think the jalapeño they add to the order kinda rubs off on the fish and gives it a nice kick. Wish the portions were better but again, there are new players around so I don't have to be pressed to go with this place unless I'm in the area. Not a huge dining area inside. There are two restrooms. As far as customer service goes, they are cordial. The guys who take my order usually have a 'take it or leave it,' air about them. Don't think they care to have your business one way or the other lol
